Willy Wilson is a creative spirit who loves to help people show their best selves through photography. Willy is always learning and enjoys partnering with her clients in creative expression and imagining an artistic portrait of the people they love. Her work includes family photojournalism, lifestyle portraiture, high school senior portraits, and underwater photography.
Willy has received multiple awards for her photography from NAPCP including being awarded Photographer of the Year in 2023. She also has awards from the International Photographer’s Association, Black and White Child, the Spider Awards, and the International Child Photography competition. With over 32 nominations and awards, Willy has enjoyed representing her work in publications such as NAPCP Inspired magazine, USA today, and The Perpetual You.
A born collaborator, Willy has embarked on a multi-year creative project called Light Entwined, with Barb Toyama, Jennifer Kapala, and poet Brooke Bergan. The project brings together poetry and creative photography as an ongoing concern that will eventually become a book and gallery exhibition.
Willy enjoys working with other photographers helping them embrace their own creativity and take their work to the next level through creative coaching and mentoring. She is also expert in visual identity and speaks to business groups about business storytelling.
