I have loved photography since childhood when I used to pose my Cabbage Patch dolls for portraits with my mom's Polaroid camera. I was a film student in college back in the days when film was still used and when we developed our work in darkrooms. I feel that photography is an incredibly powerful and poignant artform, particularly in it's ability to capture the fleeting golden essence of childhood, since (as Robert Frost wrote) "nothing gold can stay."
