About

There are two myths ascribed to the Forget Me Not flower.  One of which is of an unnamed flower who cried out to God, “Forget me not, Lord!” The other tale is of a knight who collected flowers for his sweetheart, but because of the weight of his armor fell into a river and in his death, flung the petite blue flowers at his love and cried out, “Forget me not!”

A photograph laments, “Forget me not!” A camera is an instrument to see, to remember, to capture what seems to be lost.

My camera is like a mother’s diaper bag and my credit card, I never leave home without.  Famous American portrait photographer Annie Leibovitz attested, “One doesn’t stop seeing. One doesn’t stop framing. It doesn’t turn off and turn on. It’s on all the time.”

My photographer’s eye is single, passionate, thoughtful…and evolving.  Annie also quoted, “When I say I want to photograph someone, what I really mean is that I’d like to know them. Anyone I know, I photograph.” Friends and family would affirm this.  This is your investment.

I am a wife, mother, and homeschool mom. Avid reader, shopper, and cleaner. Photographer, crock potter, mentor.  Sunday school teacher, friend, and flavored coffee lover.
